Christine Sell Porter - WATERCOLOR DEMONSTRATION

Christine's medium of choice is oil, by virtue of it's versatility - it's perfect for building texture and produces brilliant color.  Watercolor is another medium that she loves for it's spontaneity and transparency.  She has painted for over 30 years.  After relocating to Three Rivers in 2005, she has found the natural beauty of the area to be a new source of inspiration.  She spends many happy hours in the studio.  Christine is a multi talented artist. she also likes designing little jewelry pieces, and knitting gorgeous scarves during long winter nights.  For summer, she hand paints, in vibrant color, flowers and birds on silk scarves.  Additionally, she creates lovely light catchers for the window, fashioned with antique glass and with an oil rubbed copper foil finish.
Christine will be a giving a watercolor painting demonstration at Kaweah Arts at the Dome, 42249 Sierra Drive.

Debbie Hoffman - POUR PAINTING DEMONSTRATION

Debbie has been exploring the art of pour painting since Covid. She has a background in make up artistry which assists her with color theory and the art of layering color creatively. She is exploring various techniques including chaos and Dutch pour. Debbie will be giving a demonstration of pour painting at 11:30am, 1pm, and 2:30pm at Kaweah Arts.

Redbud Garden Club

The Redbud Garden Club is having a plant sale at Kaweah Arts starting at 11 am!  All the plants have been grown by local club members (who have many years of experience) and grow well in the Three Rivers environment!  The Redbud Garden Club was established in 1951.
