Lotus Blossom Vietnamese food - In front of the Kaweah Commonwealth

Thu Duong-Paul is inspired by, and has a passion for food. It comes from her mother who taught Thu to cook Vietnamese fish stew and shrimp mustard greens soup when she was 13 years old. As a mother of three children, it is a treasure to be able to make food from her childhood to share with her children.  Thu and her daughter started a food tent, Lotus Blossom, in honor of her mother. The lotus blossom is the symbol of purity, serenity, commitment and optimism for the future. It is the flower which grows from muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom with remarkable beauty.  On the menu for this 1st Saturday (shown here) - Chicken/ vegetarian eggs rolls  3 for $5, Lemon Grass Chicken/vegetarian curry bowl.  Come meet Thu and taste her exotic food in front of the Kaweah Commonwealth at 41841 Sierra Dr.
